Look at that, you son of a bitch. -Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell
This is footage from Kidfest 2012. The festival/summer camp held in Orlando Florida at the Enzian theater each summer. I was one of the technical instructors and helpers for the Amazing Amber segment and opening interviews. This was my 4th year as an instructor. Each year the kids(with our guidance) were given one week to learn the technical aspects of filmmaking and another week to produce a short film.
Most of the footage was shot with the Panasonic GH2 and AF100. The Paranormal Kidfest segment taught by Don Hoy was shot with a little Sony DV handheld and Panasonic Af100.
PART 01
PART 02

I was offered an interesting set of opportunities this political season by working/documenting both sides of the campaign. It’s interesting to see how two opposite ends of the spectrum differ and even more interesting to see how much they’re the same.
I’ll leave my political preferences out of this but I will comment on how welcoming and passionate the individual families were. No matter what media or propaganda mediums say, most if not all of the people we interviewed on either side of the left/right hemisphere were NOT hateful monsters, slackers, moochers or bigots. They were extremely hospitable, welcoming, concerned people that dream like the rest of us. No matter how black & white these ideas come off, the individuals involved are much more complicated than perceived.
Here is a trailer for the Citizens United Doc I worked on called “The Hope & The Change” or if feel like watching the whole thing its available HERE on HULU
If that’s not your cup of tea than here are a couple videos from the Local Voices for Obama campaign. For more Pro-Obama you can visit localvoices.org
I needed to make a new demo reel and bio for future projects. Problem is I don’t often hold on to the original footage or files. I’m usually left asking for content back or worse, I’m ripping my own content off line. There is a little quality loss in some of these clips but the message is still there. Keep high quality clips of your stuff!! Lesson learned :-/
